Fragility

Canadian artist Marina Bychkova creates dolls of a disturbing beauty. Fragile, with 18 ball joints, delicate and pale, are they much more than just dolls. Provocative in between childlike vulnerability and mature eroticism. They are enchanted!
They will be shown at an exhibition in Berlin. Beside Marina Bychkova, there will be some amazing work by Wendy Froud and Virginie Ropars.

Never Enough

I don't think I could ever have enough jewelry... wish I could afford these beauties. But hey! there is sale now at the Shine Collective!!!

These could be something for a DIY-project...

"Why Don't You Love Me" - Beyoncé from Beyoncé on Vimeo.

Beyoncé featuring some hot Betty-Page-alike retro style, accompanied by yum-yum-yummy vintage style lingerie. A serious question: "Why don't you love me?"

Glorious Glint

For all those ladies and gentlemen of glamour out there: Butler and Wilson know how to make you happy. Rhinestones, rhinestones everywhere. May it be a daliesque lip-mirror, a pair of fab epaulettes or a scull necklace?
I got myself these eye-earrings!

Revenge

Ellen von Unwerth is my favorite photographer for erotical images.
These pictures are from her book "Revenge". A Story about three girls, a Baroness, her chauffeur, a stablehand... and a lot of filthy debauchery. Ooohh lala!

DIY Miu Miu Inspiration

I found this great DIY idea today at Bleach Black.
Take some old shoes, spray-paint them, and then decorate them f.e. with those cute Miu Miu motives.

I do (of course) love those naked beauties. I want a whole dress with nude ladies aaaall over :-)

Lady Exotica

And another post about my love to African fabrics, cut and sewn in a retro-western way.
Boxing Kitten mixes and matches African prints with 50's/60's style cuts. These pieces are just hotttt!

This is the designer behind Boxing Kitten, Maya A. Lake:
"Boxing Kitten is really about having fun with what you wear. I like things to be unexpected and I have fun with small details like metallic threads and vintage buttons. The philosophy behind the silhouettes is based around fashion of the 50’s and 60’s. When you combine those silhouettes with the fabrics that I use there is a unique result achieved. I’m also drawn to answer the question, “what is authentic,” and how that relates to being an “American.” I think the message is different for every woman that wears a piece, for some women the cuts remind them of their mother, and for others the fabric may bring them to a moment in their childhood."
