Fashion-History In Paper

Isabelle de Borchgrave is a fantastic artist from Brussels. She is known for her stunning historical costumes made of paper. Together with the Canadian costume-designer Rita Brown, she designed and produced costumes which cover 300 years of fashion-history. This exhibition "Papiers a la Mode" opened in France in 1998 and has since travelled the world.

At the moment you can see her creations at the "Musées d’Art et d’Histoire du Cinquantenaire" in Brussels, until the 18th of April 2010.
