Tim Ryan is an Irish knitwear-designer I just recently found via stylebubble. I adore his feminine shapes, the colors, the style. And I like the wide range of his design, from the more subtle elegance of his 08-collection with it's 70's-art-deco flair, to the 09-collection, with it's wonderful bright blue color-explosion.
All his fashion is produced in Europe: cashmere from Italy and Scotland, and the garments are knitted by workers at home, or at small workshops. This is no mass-production, it's a sign of beautiful craftsmanship and ethical awareness.
Unfortunately he doesn't have an own web-site, so you can find more in this article from London fashion week, and of course on stylebubble.
